当电动汽车和供电设备建立电气连接后,车辆控制装置通过判断检测点2的PWM信号占空比确认供电设备的最大可供电能力,并且通过判断检测点3与PE之间的电阻值来确认电缆的额定容量。车辆的连接状态及RC的电阻值见表A.3。车辆控制装置对供电设备当前提供的最大供电电流值、车载充电机的额定输入电流值及电缆的额定容量进行比较,将其最小值设定为车载充电机当前最大允许输入电流。当车辆控制装置判断充电连接装置已完全连接,并完成车载充电机最大允许输入电流设置后,车载充电机开始对电动汽车进行充电。
After establishment of an electrical connection between EV and power supply equipment, the vehicle control device confirms the maximum power supply capacity of the power supply equipment by determining duty cycle of the PWM signals at detection point 2, and also confirms rated capacity of cables by calculating resistance between detection point 3 and PE. The vehicle connection states and RC resistance levels are shown in Table A.3. The vehicle control device will compare the maximum supply current provided by the power supply equipment, rated input current of the onboard charger, and rated capacity of cables, and then defines the minimum value among them as the maximum allowable input current of the onboard charger. After the vehicle control device has confirmed completed charging connections and set the maximum allowable input current of the onboard charger, the onboard charger starts to charge the EV.
